good evening
paul i believe you live in this area . we hope to be visiting regina trench cemetery in november. havent been there before and it seems that parking etc may be differcult. wonder if you can advise or best option , maybe to park the car and walk etc.

Paul will know better .. but I think that access to Regina was basically a foot slog? Maybe park in C'lette and take yer waders with you?

It depends on the weather. You can drive up a metalled track all the way from Courcelette to a cross-roads on the ridge close to the cemetery. Park there and walk about 300 yards to the cemetery. This is normally ok in most weathers, and I have actually taken a coach up to this point before now. Otherwise park in the village and walk - it is over a mile from the turning for the cemetery to the cemetery; and take some waterproofs as there is little cover!

Great place - and wonderful to be all alone up there, save the lads with you in that silent city.
